La Vigna Restaurant on Sanibel Island

This is a truly traditional Italian restaurant. It has a large open dining and bar area. It has a very open and spacious feel which is nice when you are eating. The entrees range from pasta, chicken, veal and beef dishes. The caesar salad is excellent. Always so fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend the Ravioli di Pollo, it is wonderful! But make sure that you enjoy garlic, which I love! Fred enjoys the Chicken Parmesan which he really likes. He did try another dish the Tortellini Alla Panna O Al Pomodoro (pork tortellini) which he liked a lot. The ice tea is especially good!

For dessert I ordered the Chocolate Mousse (Mousse Di Cioccolato). Wow! On my Gosh! If you are craving chocolate this is the dessert for you! It was light and fluffy but totally satisfying. I will get that dessert again!

The menu is very large and diversified. You will have many choices to make your dinner special. We have always had very good service at La Vigna. Our drinks are always filled and the wait staff is very attentive.
